Project

College Heights had a problem: 80 HVAC units each with its own thermostat. In order to change settings on their standard programmable thermostats a building engineer had to go to each unit to make the changes. Additionally, the only way they would find out if a HVAC unit was malfunctioning was to get a call from the users of that room.

They were investigating installing a centrally managed system but were mired down in the numerous options. Some required running new wires to each thermostat which would have been almost impossible do to the numerous additions to the building since it was first constructed and others were based on unproven technology with no local support.

OES guided them through the maze of options and the Entouch system was chosen. Installation was a breeze and now the occupants actually have more control than they did before. Now College Heights can check on and easily make any changes to all of thermostats at their facility with any smart phone, tablet or desktop computer.

The Entouch system will send out a text or email when an HVAC unit is malfunctioning allowing timely service to be performed, often before the occupants are even aware there is a problem.
